Pain Management Support in Burlington

Persistent or recurring pain wears on everything. We start by working out what is driving it, then match the approach to that.

Living with Persistent Pain

Pain that lingers or keeps coming back does more than hurt. It limits how you move, sleep and get through your day, and it can be hard to know where to turn when it has not settled on its own.

The useful first step is understanding what is behind it. Pain can come from an injury, from posture and movement patterns, from inflammation, or from a combination. A plan that targets the driver tends to hold better than one aimed only at the symptom.

The Assessment

How We Work Out What Is Going On

Your first visit starts with your story: where it hurts, when it started, and how it affects your days. Your practitioner reviews your health history and does a physical assessment where relevant before recommending anything.

Because our team covers more than one discipline, pain support can draw on osteopathy, massage therapy and acupuncture, matched to what your assessment shows rather than a one-size approach.

Questions People Ask Us First

Do I need a diagnosis before booking?

No. Part of what the assessment does is help clarify what is going on and what may be behind it. You don't need anything sorted out in advance to be seen.

Which practitioner will I see?

That depends on what your assessment points to. Pain can be addressed through several of our disciplines, and we'll point you to the team member who fits your concern.

What if I am already seeing another provider?

That's fine and it helps. Bring any relevant history or imaging and we can factor them in, and coordinate with your other providers within your circle of care where useful.
