Lauren Wootton completed her MScPT at Ontario's McMaster University in 2012. She has since completed the Introductory and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy Course in Toronto and the Certificate of Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation in partnership with Texas State University.

Unlike physiotherapists who treat a multitude of conditions, Lauren works solely with vestibular conditions, allowing her to focus her learning, treatment strategies and skills in one area.

Lauren is the founder of The Vertigo Therapist and has developed an effective method of assessment and treatment of vestibular conditions using a combination of in-person and virtual appointments.

Lauren is skilled and experienced in treating vestibular conditions such as BPPV, PPPD, MDDS, Menieres Disease, Vesibular Migraine, Vestibular Neuritis, Concussion related vertigo and more.   She has found that the most effective way to help someone with vertigo is to tailor treatment not only to the specific condition but to the individual person in order to meet their goals (big and small) at a pace that is right for them.
